HSMAI's Affordable Meetings(R) National kicked off on September 10th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. with the debut of Event Technology Expo(TM) (ETE) and a keynote presentation by Allen Blue, vice president of product strategy and LinkedIn co-founder. Blue introduced meeting planners to a new events application to be launched by LinkedIn towards the end of October, asking for feedback.
