Article: HBCO to Add 600,000 Cable Subscribers to Its Broadcasting Network

NEW YORK, Aug. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Hungarian Broadcasting Corp. (Nasdaq-Small Cap: HBCO) announced through its Chairman, Peter E. Klenner, that it has contracted with or signed letters of intent with 85 cable television operators in Hungary to add 600,000 cable television subscribers to its distribution network. These cable operators can receive channel A3's broadcast signal via satellite beginning September 1st. This will bring channel A3's total distribution in Hungary to 1.4 million households or 38% of all TV households in the country.
