GAFFNEY, S.C., Aug. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- In 1971, The Timken Company (NYSE: TKR) opened its pacesetting plant in Gaffney, South Carolina. A quarter century later, the plant and its associates stand recognized as worldwide leaders.
"If we could do it over again, there is no doubt that we would make the same decision," said W.R. Timken, Jr., chairman - board of directors.
