Research findings, 'Statistical methods for estimating the probability of spontaneous abortion in observational studies--analyzing pregnancies exposed to coumarin derivatives,' are discussed in a new report. "Spontaneous abortion rates are of general interest when investigating pregnancy outcome. In most studies observations are left truncated as pregnant women enter with a delay of several weeks after conception," researchers in Berlin, Germany report (see also Spontaneous Abortion).
