The title of this book is quite literal - this is a book on agricultural field experiments, and every topic within is relevant to that subject. As such, the book may appear to be of limited interest to statisticians not working in this area. The subject of field experiments occupies a much smaller relative space in the arena of applied statistics than it did 20 or more years ago, at least in the United States. Many statisticians will enjoy the book, however, because it covers topics not found in traditional statistical methods texts. These topics are at the forefront of statistical methodology in field experiments, but not all are used extensively in the United States. ...
