COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--Aug. 14--Yellow Cab of Colorado Springs is going statewide to capitalize on Western Pacific Airlines' growing volume of skiers headed to the slopes through Colorado Springs.
The cab company has bought the Colorado Springs Airport Shuttle as the first step in an ambitious $3 million plan to become a statewide transportation service linking the Springs and Colorado ski areas.
The company plans to buy up to nine 15-passenger vans and another 10 to 15 47-passenger buses during the next year to expand the shuttle business.
