PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 16, 1996--The new Dial Corp., a $1.5 billion consumer products manufacturer and marketer with some of the world's best-known brand names, was listed today on the New York Stock Exchange (ticker symbol: DL).

The new Dial was created as a result of the spin-off of the consumer products group from the former Dial Corp. That company, now consisting of a group of services businesses, has been renamed Viad Corp.
