PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 19, 1996--GumTech International Inc. (NASDAQ:GUMM) Monday announced it has entered into a preliminary agreement with Dr. Alvin Shemesh, M.D., and Dr. M.A. Toor, M.D., to formulate and market a nutrient chewing gum to relieve allergy symptoms.
The doctors have also agreed to serve in a clinical testing role as required for other GumTech products.
``Dr. Shemesh and Dr. Toor add a new dimension to GumTech,'' said Gary Kehoe, GumTech chief operating officer, in announcing the preliminary agreement.
