MIDDLEBORO, Mass., Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Mayflower Cooperative Bank (Nasdaq: MFLR) today reported a 30% increase in its first quarter earnings to $.31 per share, or $277,000. Earnings for the comparable period last year were $.24 per share, or $213,000.
At the same time, the Bank announced that its Board of Directors had voted to increase the quarterly cash dividend to shareholders to $.12 per share. This dividend will be payable on September 6, 1996 to shareholders of record as of August 29, 1996.
