One-of-a-kind private sector foundation will fund drug-fighting
organizations that assist families and kids in communities nationwide
TROY, Mich., Aug. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Kmart Corporation (NYSE: KM) today announced the creation of The Kmart Family Foundation, organized as a nonprofit entity to educate, prevent and fight against drug abuse by youth nationwide. One hundred percent of the funds raised by The Kmart Family Foundation will be donated to charities that battle drug abuse by children.
