The 2008 Marketing and Selling of Castings Conference was held July 31-Aug. 1 at the Westin O'Hare, Rosemont, Ill. Attendees flocked to the conference in record numbers as more than 160 sought methods of improving sales and marketing strategies for their metalcasting facilities.
Five casting buyers from CAT, Haas Automation, Cummins, FMC Technologies and Siemens spoke at the event, as well as 10 other experts on marketing for manufacturers. Topics included:
