Purdue Research Park officials began construction on an 80,000-square-foot Innovation Center, which will be home to a national software solution center for global technology giant EDS.
Innovation Center, which is a partnership between the Purdue Research Foundation and South Bend-based Holladay properties, will provide 45,000 square feet of space for EDS' 200-plus software engineer and business analyst positions.
EDS has already hired more than 50 people and expects to hire another 25 by the end of September to work at the Purdue Research Park-based facility.
