SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Wild Goose Storage Inc. (WGSI) has acquired a natural gas storage project in the southwestern corner of Butte County near the community of Gridley. The project was acquired from Wild Goose Gas Storage L.P., a Texas-based partnership of natural gas storage companies and private investors.
WGSI is a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of Calgary-based Alberta Energy Company Ltd. (AEC), a major Canadian oil and natural gas producer and operator of the AECO C HUB(TM) natural gas storage facility and market center.
The storage project will use the depleted Wild Goose natural gas reservoir, which produced more than 100 billion ...
