SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 27, 1996--TROY Systems Inc., Santa Ana, on Tuesday announced that Hewlett-Packard Co., Palo Alto, Calif., has designated TROY as its official manufacturer of magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) toner cartridges for the HP LaserJet family of printers.
The MICR toner, which contains special magnetic (iron oxide) characteristics, provides immediate on-site, "on demand" check printing capability to the millions of users of HP LaserJet printers.
