Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:APC), a US-based company that explores for oil and gas, has announced a pre-salt discovery at the Wahoo prospect in the Campos Basin, offshore Brazil.

The 1-APL-1-ESS well is located on block BM-C-30 in around 4,650 feet of water. Preliminary results from wire line logs indicate at least 195ft of net pay.
