CALGARY, ALBERTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 27, 1996--QSound Labs' (TSE: QSL, NASDAQ:QSNDF) innovative stereo-to-surround technology, QXpander (TM), is now available to OEM's via Crystal Semiconductor's newest single-chip multimedia audio sub-system, the CS4238B. This new QSound-enhanced 3D audio codec offers optimal ease of implementation as it requires not additional hardware or software re-designs because the CS4238B is pin-for-pin compatible with Crystal's CS4232 and CS4236 industry-standard audio codecs.
