EDISON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 27, 1996--Seagate Software, Information Management Group today announced that the German firm R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG has received a "Best Practices" first-place award from The Data Warehousing Institute for its data warehouse implementation that included Holos business intelligence software.
The award was announced after the close of the Annual Conference of The Data Warehousing Institute, held in Washington, D.C. in July, where all finalists presented their solutions for evaluation by a panel of experts. R+V won its first prize in the category "Important Applications of Data Warehousing, Including OLAP."
