Sexual harassment in the workplace is increasing in the public eye. The more lurid examples - including the Anita Hill-Clarence Thomas and President Bill Clinton-Paula Jones controversies - created instant headlines. But the seriousness of the matter is evident from the large number of sexual harassment cases that don't make the news - more than 12,500 made to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in 1993 alone.
