Pinewood Shepperton has revamped Project Pinewood, its 200 million [pounds sterling] ($359 million) plan to double the size of Pinewood Studios.
The proposal, as unveiled in November, envisaged a combination of homes, workplaces and permanent film sets on a 108-acre site. But after consulting local residents, the company has reduced the proposed number of homes from 2,250 to 1,500, shrinking the size of the development to leave 74 acres of open land.
