The electronics revolution has made its impact felt in the wastewater treatment field in many facets of operational control. While a completely automated plant may not be feasible at the present and there may be some "bugs" to be worked out of process control, properly working automated systems can save on labor, promote efficiency and safety, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
