U.S. Rep. Mark Udall was flustered when he exited the debate.
Udall, a Democrat from Eldorado Springs, had just finished an hour-long tussle with Republican Bob Schaffer at Two Rivers Convention Center in Grand Junction during the fall Club 20 meeting Sept. 5.
The two men seeking Republican Sen. Wayne Allard s seat in the U.S. Senate spent most of the night talking over each other as moderator Tillie Bishop offered only the periodic interjection of a new question. Udall also had to contest with booing from the majority Republican crowd and Schaffer consistently saying That s not true while his opponent made statements about him. ...
