HOUSTON, Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental Express, Inc. today announced a firm order for 25 Embraer EMB-145 50-seat regional jets. The purchase is consistent with Continental Airlines' previously announced five year plan which calls for flexible growth out of the airline's hub franchises in Newark, Houston and Cleveland. At a list price of $15 million per aircraft, the transaction is valued at $375 million.
