Oct. 6--Even dogs enjoyed Penn State Hazleton Campus' Community Day on Sunday.
Emily, a red dachshund, was dressed in a Penn State print dog vest and handkerchief. She wagged her tail as people passed, just waiting for a friendly hand to reach down and pet her.
Pat Jones, her owner, said the entire family -- including Emily -- loves Penn State and religiously watches the college's football games.
Jones' daughter, Sarah, is studying forensic science at Penn State main campus. Jones and Emily were joined by Jones' father, Don Johnson, and her younger daughter, Rachel, 11.
