The Lebanese government took further measures to revive the Beirut stock exchange in the week ending 26 April, ready to meet its target start-up date in June. Shares in the property development company Solidere reported a mixed performance on the secondary market, but are still up on their mid-April lows.
Other developments on the region's exchanges during the week, included the first cross-listing of shares on the Manama and Muscat exchanges, a step closer towards the linking of the exchanges.
