CLINTON - Marion V. (Schmidt) Sorel, 89, a lifelong Clinton resident, died on Thursday, Oct. 2, at the Sterling Healthcare Center after a brief illness.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Paul J. Sorel, who died in 1981, and her daughter, Paula Sorel, who died in 1959. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Bailey of Clinton and Marcia Ferry of Concord, Calif.; six grandchildren, Lee Wasserman, Robert and Michael Ferry, Paul, Brendon and Kevin Bailey; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
