NEW YORK, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- On Monday, September 9, Con Edison will be recognized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the company's participation in the Agency's "Waste Wi$e" program. EPA initiated "Waste Wi$e" as a voluntary partnership program designed to help businesses implement practical solutions to solid waste problems. When they join the program, the partners commit to achieve results in three areas: waste prevention, recyclables collection, and the purchase or manufacture of recycled products.
