   DPPE a Promising Therapy for Prostate and Breast Cancers 

PRINCETON, N.J., MONTREAL, and WINNIPEG, Manitoba, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (NYSE: BMY), the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation (MCTRF), and the University of Manitoba, Canada, announced today a license agreement under which Bristol-Myers Squibb will develop and market DPPE, a novel treatment for cancer. In preclinical tests and in clinical trials conducted at MCTRF in patients with prostate and breast cancer, DPPE appears to enhance the cytotoxic effects of chemotherapy with no additive unwanted side effects.
