LAS VEGAS, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Nevada Power Company (NYSE: NVP) announced today the successful conclusion of an arbitration proceeding brought against the Company by Saguaro Power Company in Henderson.
Saguaro Power Company initiated the arbitration proceeding in June 1995 seeking in excess of $2 million in electric energy and capacity costs as a result of curtailment of power deliveries during periods of low load conditions on the Nevada Power Company system.
The Arbitrator decided that Nevada Power Company's actions were proper and denied Saguaro Power Company relief on all counts.
