NEW YORK--Arlee Home Fashions is entering the kitchen textiles business with a new line of 12 to 18 ensembles that the company will unveil at the October market. Items in the line include kitchen towels, placemats, kitchen mitts, pot holders and chair pads. Matching balloon valances will also be available, said the company's senior vice presidents, Marsha Caparelli.
While samples have yet to be made, Arlee has already shown artist's renderings of the new items to select retailers. The reaction so far has been encouraging, according to Arlee's president Bud Frankel.
