BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 9, 1996--Pacific Forest Corp. (OTC BB:PFCO) is in the timberlands business, which includes forestry management of 24,000 acres of high value timber -- valued at over $270 million (U.S.).
Pacific Forest owns 24,000 acres of timberland in Fiji, which produces logs for sale in the Pacific Rim markets. All timber exported will be sawn lumber through mill processing for a higher profit. The company has already entered into a turnkey contract to construct a mill in Fiji, which has a log output capacity of approximately 15,500 cubic yards per year based on single day shifts.
