Jim Heekin, Chairman and CEO of Grey Group, announced that Alain Groenendaal is joining Winglatino, Grey's Hispanic marketing communications agency, as President and CEO, effective immediately. Headquartered in New York, the premier full-service agency also has an office in Miami (see also Grey Group).
Mr. Groenendaal succeeds Jackie Bird, the high-profile CEO and industry leader, who has guided Winglatino since 2001 to become one of the leading Hispanic agencies in this highly dynamic and diversified marketplace. Ms. Bird is leaving to pursue other personal and professional interests and will assist with the transition in the coming weeks.
