Live from New York, it's Thursday Night Live!
"Saturday Night Live" gives the presidential election even more attention with "Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday," three live prime-time specials beginning tonight at 9:30 on WHDH (Ch. 7).
Seth Meyers, "SNL" head writer and "Weekend Update" co-anchor, is excited about the show's double exposure.
"Sometimes stuff comes up, and by the time Saturday rolls around, it's gone cold," he said. "So it will be exciting for us to have two shots at stuff during a week."
