Product liability reform legislation, which President Clinton cold-cocked in May, is almost certain to resurface on Capitol Hill next year. But whether it gets off the Hill and into the law-books depends on what happens Election Day, says the vice president of government relations for AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology.

"People who are interested in the issue," says AMT's James H Mack, "need to get involved to make sure that the right people get back and the wrong people don't get back - from the House to the Senate to the President."
