CAMPBELL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 10, 1996--P-Com Inc. (NASDAQ National Market:PCMS), a manufacturer of millimeter wave radio systems, announced today that it has received purchase orders from Orange Personal Communications Services Ltd. (Orange) - United Kingdom for the supply of digital millimeter wave radio systems and associated services.
These orders, valued in excess of $3.5 million, represent additional business under an existing contract (executed November, 1994) between Orange and P-Com. As with Orange's previously purchased P-Com radio systems, these systems are being utilized as part of Orange's nationwide network rollout in the United Kingdom.
