Delos Insurance Group, a leader in program business insurance, announced the appointment of John Shettle as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective immediately. He succeeds Detlef Steiner whose retirement was announced in July 2008.
Shettle joined Lightyear Delos Acquisition Corporation, the holding company for Delos Insurance Group, in November 2007 as a member of the Board of Directors. He is currently a Senior Advisor to Lightyear Capital, which he joined directly from The Schinnerer Group, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, where, as President and CEO, he was responsible for running two of the largest underwriting management ...
