Pete Bicknell likes to be different when it comes to the small-block engine in his modified.
It's a Ford.
"Yeah, I've got another Ford in the car again for this year's small-block race on Saturday," said the well-known race car builder from St. Catharines, Ontario.
"I've always had pretty good luck with the Fords I've run here on the Syracuse Mile. I've won at least three races with them in recent years," he said.
Bicknell is third all-time in small-block races at Syracuse with 589 points.
Brett Hearn, the defending 358 champion, leads the series with four wins and 697 points. ...
