TOKYO, Oct 10 Asia Pulse - Japanese sports goods company Goldwin Inc. (TSE:8111) is planning a 40 per cent production increase for its FS-Pro line of Speedo swimwear, which is made from the same material as the LZR Racer swimsuit popularized in this summer's Beijing Olympics.
Goldwin is licensed by Speedo International Ltd. to manufacture Speedo swimsuits, but it does not have the right to make the LZR Racer. It can, however, use the same material, and the FS-Pro for competitive swimming differs from the LZR Racer only in that it has seams because the pieces are sewn together.
