YPSILANTI, MI: Sterling American Property, Inc., in a joint venture with Timberland Partners, has purchased the Hunt Club, a 440-unit rental apartment complex located in Ypsilanti, Mich. Sterling acquired the asset from the Denver-based Apartment Investment and Management Company (AIMCO).
Mel Mayers, senior vice president of acquisitions for Sterling, made the announcement. Tyler Anderson and Scan Cunningham of CB Richard Ellis' Phoenix office represented AIMCO in the transaction.
