NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 13, 1996--West Agro, Inc., Kansas City, MO, and Diversey Lever, Inc., Plymouth, MI, announced today that they have entered into a definitive agreement whereby they will exchange certain industrial cleaning products businesses. Terms of the exchange were not disclosed and the transaction is expected to be completed by September 18, 1996.
West Agro will acquire the agricultural (dairy farm) cleaning products business of Diversey Lever and Diversey Lever will acquire the meat plant and poultry plant cleaning products segments of West Agro's food processing business.
