Cote d'lvoire's Abidjan port is the country's maritime gateway and a vital asset for many of West Africa's land-locked countries. Since 2006, the port has been regaining much of the trade it lost following the civil conflict that flared in 2002. That comeback has not been without its difficulties, but even during the crisis, the port's infrastructure continued to function. Marcel Gossio, the port's director, talks to African Business about the renewed confidence and looks at some of the future projects.
