Galveston-based Bay-Houston Towing Co. took delivery of Lexie M, a 98.5 ft x 39.3 ft x16.4 ft Z-Tech 7500 tug.
Designed by Robert Allan Ltd., and built by Conrad's Orange Shipbuilding yard, the tug is only the third Z-tech tug to be built in the U.S. It has a minimum bollard pull of 75 tonnes and is fitted with two Caterpillar 3516C engines, each producing 3,150 hp.
