Like iPods on steroids, the touchscreens in the classrooms of Madison Cherokee Middle School teachers Lori Aegerter and Sheryl Dhuey charm students who love to manipulate images with a wave of the hand.
Even at a cost of about $3,000 per classroom for equipment and installation, growing numbers of interactive whiteboards are showing up in classrooms across Wisconsin and around the world as research suggests they really can help improve education.
