The Canadian government has decided to appeal an unfavorable Federal Court ruling on the Canadian Wheat Board (CWB), an industry group said. In a June 19 decision, Justice Roger Hughes found that the government violated Canada's Charter of Rights and the Wheat Board Act when it ordered CWB not to use its funds for any advocacy in the single desk debate over barley.
