Oct 14, 2008 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Queensland Investment Corporation has moved up on the rankings in the latest Pensions Investments/Watson Wyatt list. The list of the world's top 500 largest managers indicates large Australian firms generally managed to improved their rankings for 2007 amid a year of relatively slow growth. The Commonwealth Bank increased its ranking from 128th to 108th. Macquarie, AMP and National Australia Bank also improved their rankings.
