First-of-a-kind vertical case packers at Ore-Ida Foods provide greater flexibility, faster speeds and 15-min changeovers from foodservice to retail bags of frozen potato products.
Ore-Ida Foods Inc., an affiliate of H. J. Heinz, has unveiled a new wrinkle in case packing for bags of Golden Crinkles[R], Tater Tots[R] and other frozen potato products at its Plover, Wis., plant, using first-of-a-kind Model VP/F automatic vertical case packers from Blueprint Automation.
