Karachi , October 15 (PPI) : Millions of poor patients in Sindh province are deprived of proper healthcare facilities due to pathetic condition of government-run hospitals and healthcare units, especially in the rural areas. The vision of the Sindh Health Department, as read from its official website, is Health for All, but in practice a very few could get proper healthcare facilities in government hospitals, especially district hospitals and rural healthcare units, due to negligence, bad governance practices, lack of accountability, misuse of funds and apathy of elected representatives as well as civil society.
