MANILA, Oct. 15 (PNA) - In order to insure that polio will never set its ugly roots in the city, the Malabon health office announced that it is giving free polio vaccines to all children especially to those belonging to poor or economically depressed families.
Malabon City Health Department (MCHD) officer-in-charge Dr. Billy Goco said that the giving of free polio shots is part of their Garantisado Pambata Program which aims improve the health of all children residing in the city.
He added that polio shots are given during the months of April and October.
