The Clearwater Bar Association's Student Legal Intern Program will welcome its first class of high school interns this summer.
The legal intern program will run from June 11 to July 20, and is designed to provide students with valuable work experience, further understanding of the law, and begin a mentoring relationship between students and the legal community.
"The program is an opportunity to give something back," said Karen France, executive director of the Clearwater Bar. "Most of us remember our first mentor and would love the chance to replicate the experience."
