Three lawyers each for an upcoming vacancy on each of the state's 26 judicial nominating commissions have been selected by the Bar Board of Governors and forwarded to Gov. Charlie Crist, who will make the final appointments.
The board, at its March meeting, reviewed the recommendations of its JNC screening committees and made its choices.
Former Bar President Howard C. Coker of Jacksonville, Philip Freidin of Miami, and Cynthia Johnson-Stacks of Miami were nominated for the Supreme Court JNC.
