Huawei, ZTE win largest shares in China Telecom's CDMA equipment tender
Shanghai. October 16. INTERFAX-CHINA - China Telecommunications Corp.'s (China Telecom) tender for CDMA network equipment for over 300 cities has been finalized, with Huawei Technologies and ZTE Corp. winning the largest shares in the bidding, Chinese media reported on Oct. 16.
Huawei and ZTE each won a 25 percent share of the tender covering 342 cities according to quantity of new transceivers, Chinese news portal Sina.com said. Alcatel-Lucent won a 19 percent share while Motorola Inc.
